Well, as the title suggests, I haven't been up to much...again! I really do like having this lazy summer you know; I do appreciate that it will never happen again!
I was a bit constructive today and did go into town with my mum to give her a hand with the shopping...she was trying to convince me to buy some new clothes...again!! The woman never stops!! Honestly, my mum has so many clothes she can't possibly wear them all; I told her I'd help her sort her wardrobe out because she claims she just doesn't wear some garments often enough; hardly surprising really ![]()
Anyway, enough about my mum's clobber! ![]()
I have managed to see a few friends and neighbours since I got back, and everyone's said how pleased they are that I got my degree - so am I!! I had to work really hard for that 2:1 but it was all worth it! ![]()
Hope everyone else is keeping well - I'm still happy! Just like most people on here; although I haven't as yet 'vented my spleen' (re: Just_A_Guy, tee hee), but I'm sure something will annoy me enough soon for me to moan at everyone! But as for now, happy happy happy! ![]()

The makers of Big Brother can be accused of many things but having witnessed the appalling treatment Makosi received on the night of her eviction from not only the crowd but also Davina McColl has now made me reconsider my allegiance to this show.
It was simply nasty and excruciating to watch. I cannot understand how anyone can enjoy watching another human being being debased ultimately in such an exploitive way. Unfortunately this might be the price that one has to pay when taking part in a reality show but surely the presenter had the ability and power to steer this situation onto a far more positive level.
I do feel that Davina McCall abused her position. Considering her experience with the media far out ways that of any of contestants, I am therefore even more surprised with her conduct and lack of indifference to the possible backlash Makoski could now receive when entering the real world.
Witnessing her chastising Makosi for not showing enough ‘humility’ actually said more about her transparency as a human being than she possibly ever would like the public to know.
